Apollo 11 will celebrate their 40th anniversary of the moon landing, which actually took place on July 20th. Louis Vuitton will commemorate the achievement with a custom Malle Mars trunk. The trunk will be on display this coming Monday, at the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History. History-making astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Jim Lovell and Sally Ride will be in attendance along with Louis Vuitton North America president and chief executive officer Daniel Lalonde.
