The exquisite table settings of Prouna are now available in the U.S. Prouna is the luxury brand of Hankook Chinaware, a 60-year-old Seoul-based family business that has manufactured bone china for the likes of Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Royal Doulton for decades. In 2005, Prouna discovered a way to bond Swarovski crystals to china. They are now available in several boutique stores throughout the country. The Diana and Adonis patterns ($885 for a five-piece place setting) boast amber and clear baguette, round and cabochon crystals arranged in geometric, Art Deco-like patterns on 24-karat-gold rims. Persia ($517) is a paisley pattern employing the same materials. Princess ($995), the most expensive, displays a platinum web pattern studded with clear round crystals. There are others, the patterns of which are intentionally designed to mix and match freely. Prouna
