Hilton Hotels has opened the first five-star airport hotel in China, at Beijing International Airport. The luxury hotel, which is close to the airport’s newest terminal three building, will cater to the rapidly increasing number of wealthy travelers in China. It contains 322 rooms and seven restaurants and bars, along with two full-size ballrooms and a 25-meter indoor swimming pool. The hotel is home to the longest bar in Beijing, stretching for 50 meters in an L-shape, alongside several other Chinese restaurants and a cigar lounge.

A luxury ‘super-yacht’, designed to sail the rich and famous to some of the most exclusive events in the world, is selling residences on board for up to £10m. Calling itself ‘the world’s finest floating club’ Quintessentially One aims to take cruising to a new level with its opulent vessel. Designed for the Quintessentially One private members’ club, the floating destination has 12 triplex residential apartments on the top decks, a £750 per night boutique hotel, a restaurant run by Wolseley, a Quintessence spa and a shopping emporium. CampbellGray Hotels of London run the hotel on board, and the luxurious suites measure 40, 60 and 100 square meters. Other lavish amenities include a night bar, a range of water sport activities, high-tech business center, an onboard library, kids’ area and plenty of bespoke services. Quintessentially One calls itself the world’s finest floating club, and it will travel to to the most in-demand destinations so far are the Rio Carnival, the Monaco Grand Prix and the Venice Film Festival.

The membership to the exclusive club is by invitation only, and the membership to Quintessentially One will grant access to the luxury yacht and other on board amenities. The Quintessentially One superyacht construction may not begin until this September and will set on its maiden voyage sometime in 2013.

Built in 1930 for Sir Thomas Lipton’s fifth and final America’s Cup, she is being offered by Mike Horsley of Edmiston for $15 million. Shamrock V has been extensively refurbished and refitted over the years, and now offers guests total comfort and pleasure of the best in classic yachting. She offers accommodation for up to 8 guests, in two doubles and two twin cabins, sumptuously finished in birds eye maple.

Originally owned by the legendary singer and actor Bing Crosby, a 1966 Aston Martin DB6 will go on sale at the Mecum Monterey Auction, August 13-14, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Spa. The interior is reportedly all original, including the cherry wood steering wheel. It is powered by Aston Martin’s famous 4-liter overhead cam straight 6 engine, rated at 282 horsepower. No word on the price of this classic. The buyer of the car will also get a copy of the title with Bing Crosby’s name.

Looking stunning in a body that glitter with high-end materials like diamonds (1.3 carats) gold, East African green garnet, and python leather. The same old spec sheet reads 1.9 inch QVGA sapphire crystal displays, secondary OLED displays at the top, 2MP cameras and 2GB of internal memory. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet.
