Limited-edition 1010 Chrono Sport pen from Caran d’Ache

Caran d’Ache is preparing three novelties, including an upscale limited-edition pen, for the TFWA World Exhibition in October as a part of the Caran d’Ache’s 1010 collection. Keeping in sync of the older models of the collection, the product is designed to evoke the fluid movement between a classic watch and a stunning writing instrument.  The ring of the pen servers as the bezel and the cap comes coated in black lacquer and a sparkling ruby topped clip. The pen itself comes set with a ruby and a hand polished 18carat gold rhodium-coated nib, along with a black piston pump spotting a soft-touch matt polish. Only 500 pieces are being produced, retailing at US$9,100 each. Some will be sold in Caran d’Ache’s new boutique at Geneva Airport with operator Airgateshop.

Giuliano Mazzuoli has proudly unveiled a special version of its incredible Contagiri 8C Competizione watch, which pays tribute to the glorious sport tradition of Alfa Romeo. A four years of efforts, the Contagiri 8C Competizione watch boasts a black or argente dial with Arabic numerals. The watch inspired by the tachometer of a car flaunts a 13.30 mm thick case measuring 44 mm in diameter. The case has been done in stainless steel and black diamond-like-carbon (DLC) or 18-karat rose gold and titanium. For accurate precision, the watch relies on “Calibre GM Cambiosequenziale/01 alternance 10” mechanical self-winding movement. The watch mechanism includes 29 jewels and comprises 131 individual parts.

Corum Admiral’s Cup Black Chronograph 40 for woman

Corum releases a new version of their Admiral’s Cup watch for women, it proudly bears the identity codes of its siblings: a 12-sided case and nautical pennant hour-markers. Featuring a 40mm diameter well suited to ladies’ wrists, the newcomer clearly tops the bill right from its first appearance. It is equipped with a chronograph that asserts its sporting nature, while clothed in intense black and diamonds that proclaim its feminine spirit. The case is in PVD black steel – matched to a black rubber strap. Style is basic monochromatic Admiral’s Cup, with the jewelry look of diamonds around the bezel. Corum places 66 stones around the dial, which makes for a sober, stylish look. Inside the watch is a Swiss automatic chronograph movement that carries a COSC Chronometer certification for accuracy. The two interpretations of the Corum Admiral’s Cup Black Chronograph 40 are water-resistant to 100 meters and fitted with a black vulcanized rubber strap. Issued in limited numbers of 355 for the black dial version and 155 of the model with white dial, the Corum Admiral’s Cup Black Chronograph 40 asserts a timeless design based on striking contrasts.
