Luxury retailer Neiman Marcus launched the first ever NM Beauty Awards. The Neiman Marcus Beauty Awards invites customers to vote on their favorite beauty products from 14 different categories.

Head over to Neiman Marcus to cast your vote. Voting will take place beginning on September 7th, 2010 through September 19th, 2010. Neiman Marcus is also hosting a sweepstakes by voting and filling out the enter-to-win form you will be automatically entered into a chance to win the most popular product from all 14 Beauty Award categories

La Prairie has created a selection of luxury gift sets, centred around its caviar and gold collections, for the forthcoming Holiday season. The first two sets in the new collection are the Ultimate Radiance set and the Caviar Deluxe Set, which will be made available from September. The La Prairie’s Ultimate Radiance set supercharges your skin’s ability to de-age. The set includes a 15ml version of the flagship anti-aging treatment Cellular Radiance Concentrate Pure Gold in a golden treasure chest. We already love Odin’s first three forays into fragrance (01, 02, and 03), so we’re not super surprised that number 04, Petrana, still manages to activate our aromatherapy antenna. Named after the ancient Jordan city, the unisex perfume is meant to evoke a desert teeming with black irises. Presented in a simple bottle with crisp, functional lines and colored a spicy, mesmerizing shade of brown. The scent starts off with base notes of wild orris root, earthy vetiver, and white musk, leads into middle notes of black iris, violet leaf absolute, and garden heliotrope, and finishes with top notes of deep purple cassis, pink pepper, and herbaceous coriander. Italian fashion brand Bvlgari has launched a new male fragrance “Bvlgari Man”.  Fresh and inspiring scent is available in bottles of 30 ml, 60 ml and 100 ml. It is made from Calabrian bergamot, violet leaves and lotus blossom, as well as sandalwood, white woods and cashmere wood. As a finishing notes you will find vegetal amber, white honey and musk.

The flacon of the fragrance was produced in collaboration with design studio Atelier Oï,, who said that they sought to create a formal and masculinity design. Bvlgari Man’s media campaign will include 13 million scented pieces—comprising scented strips, catalogue inserts and magazine ads—that will reach 22 million people.

Puig and Paco Rabanne are going for gold once more. The female counterpart of the highly successful 1 Million fragrance for men, by Puig and Paco Rabanne was finally unveiled last week in Paris. This fragrance made its world debut at a special installation complete with vintage Paco Rabanne dresses, a gold-colored catwalk and the signature 1 Million safe, it will begin its worldwide roll-out in July. An affordable offering, the Lady Million will retail from July as a 50ml and 80ml edp spray, priced at around €52 and €68 respectively in travel retail.
