2011 Bentley Continental GT: RESHAPED is out for the world to see

After essentially reinventing Bentley after its 2003 model year introduction, the automaker’s Continental GT has become something of an icon among high-end super luxury coupes. Bentley unveiled its Continental GT 2011 with one twist: A beautifully sculptured new body gives the GT coupe an even crisper, more defined appearance. Over the internet for the world as a whole. The newer version will feature the same twin-turbocharged 12-cylinder engine with an enhanced 567 horsepower. The stunning exteriors will feature aluminum Super Forming front wings and boot lid and bejeweled headlamps with daytime-running LED lights.

Mercedes-Benz updates mbrace app with ‘Concierge’ service

As consumers increasingly turn to mobile devices to manage their lives from wherever they are, Mercedes-Benz USA has introduced an upgraded version of its mbrace telematics platform that connects the in-car navigation system in its vehicles with drivers’ iPhones. Mbrace version 2.0 still lets drivers unlock their vehicles and, more importantly, find it in a crowded parking lot while adding location-based personal assistance ranging from entertainment, restaurant, directions, and traffic updates via Mercedes-Benz’s Concierge service while away from the vehicle.

Brabus Launches Mercedes S600 iBusiness Sedan

Brabus, one of the most respected tuning companies in the world, has now unveiled its latest creation, the Brabus iBusiness. Based on the Mercedes-Benz S600.  The “iBusiness”  represents the world debut of an absolutely unique luxury sedan that combines the latest Apple components with a powerful Brabus engine. The four-seater based on the Mercedes-Benz S600 reaches a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph). It is powered by a BRABUS SV12 R Biturbo 750 12-cylinder engine with a rated power output of 750 hp (740 bhp) / 552 kW and a peak torque of 1,350 Nm (995 lb-ft). The designers from BRABUS combine this engine with an innovative multimedia system that s fitted the Mercedes S600 iBusiness with a 15.2-inch TFT display with 16:9 aspect ratio and USB 2.0 ports in the rear compartment to hook up peripherals to the Mac. Two iPads in the rear compartment not only play movies, music and Internet content, they also control all functions of the S-Class COMAND system. The Brabus Mercedes S600 iBusiness is built to order.

Jack Vettriano: The Bluebird Collection

Scottish artist Jack Vettriano, best known for his painting titled “The Singing Butler” that was sold at Sotheby’s in 2004 for about £750,000, is now offering a limited edition boxed-set of all seven images from The Bluebird Collection of paintings is to be released on 3rd September 2010 to mark the 75th anniversary of Malcolm Campbell’s final World Land Speed record broken at Bonneville in 1935. The box set is limited to an edition of only 75, each costing £2,500.

You can probably identify the Mercedes-Benz inside that shiny wrapper on your own, but just in case you’ve recently taken an amnesia-inducing blow to the head, it’s the SLS AMG GT3 – the race version of the company’s new Gullwing sports car. There’s something to be said for having a mirror with you wherever you go, but this is a bit extreme.

Pagani Unveils Pagani Zonda HH

The latest special edition Zonda to come from Pagani is set to be delivered to one ludicrously wealthy American later this year, but before the official wraps come off, a sneak peek of the Zonda HH has arrived online. An amalgamation of the Zonda F and Cinque, it combines the Zonda’s carbon-titanium tub with the Cinque’s 680-horsepower AMG-sourced V12 and is fitted with a manual gearbox and a titanium exhaust system. While the Monterey Blue exterior and yellow accenting is a go, the design is still be fleshed out and the man behind the HH hopes to have it in his possession by year’s end.

Mansory Bugatti Veyron Linea Vincero d’Oro

With the dozens of special-edition Veyrons which Bugatti itself has rolled out, it’s hard to imagine anyone needing to make theirs stand out even more. But for those few, German tuner Mansory has announced the Linea Vincero d’Oro line of accessories. Mansory has equipped the car with a full aero kit and highly polished carbon-fiber body panels that include copper threads interwoven into the material. Instead of a complete golden finish, Mansory has provided beautiful gold accents to theBugatti Veyron Linea Vincero d’Oro. There is gold bright work on the wheels, V-shaped grille, door handles, mirror housings, fuel filler cap, headlight washer nozzles, headlight surrounds and roof. The interior too has undergone a gilded makeover. Mansory has only built the one example, but will be glad to upgrade any existing Veyron to the same effect.

World’s most expensive car goes on display

A 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, which reportedly when it changed hands in a private transaction valued at close to $40 million. It’s one of only three built. The 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic is sleek, sensuous and the first big splash at the Mullin Automotive Museum, an institution that celebrates the Art Deco and Streamline eras, adding fuel to insider speculation that the museum’s founder, financier, philanthropist and Bugatti boffin Peter Mulli was the purchaser, which is putting it on public display for about three months starting next Tuesday.
